What is Studio Picture Lock?
Studio Picture Lock is a company founded by Maurice Schaalje and Wout van Aanholt. Driven by a shared passion for film and storytelling, we further developed our hobby, while also discovering commercial opportunities.
Instead of simply producing videos, we focus on creating content that truly evokes emotion. At Studio Picture Lock, we make videos that both we and our clients fully stand behind.
In addition to commercial work, we also produce fictional films and sketches, ranging from fairy tales to horror.

Maurice Schaalje
Co-owner
My passion for film began with making LEGO stop-motion. That is where I learned early on to be patient while filmmaking. After my education, I worked on various film projects. It is a luxury to have a job where I feel like I can still keep acting.
Wout van Aanholt
Co-owner
I draw energy from collaborating with others. For me, the joint process with the client is central; only by working well together can we deliver an effective and powerful result. I believe that a successful project begins with a strong connection and a shared vision.
